Our opening hours are 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Entrance ticket is 125 SEK.
Free admission for children up to 16 years of age. Forest pass 4-16 years of age 40 SEK.
Starting on Midsummer Day, we open our gates for the summer season and the entire ironworks comes alive with activity. Our summer season runs from 20 June to 23 August. During this period, we are open daily, and many of the historic buildings around the estate are open for you to explore. Guided tours are offered every day.
Guided Tours
The History of Huseby
Join a guided walking tour and discover the history of Huseby through the centuries. Learn about the estate and ironworks during different historical periods. Meeting point: Bruksbacken, outside the Old Forge.

Anton’s Home
Take a guided tour of one of the workers’ homes where Anton and his family of four children lived 100 years ago. The apartment has been preserved in a style typical of the 1930s. Meeting point: Outside the Sawmaster’s House.

The Forest Pass
Purchase a Forest Pass for children aged 4–16 for 40 SEK and discover everything the forest has to offer at Huseby Bruk.
At the Forest Office, you’ll find magnifying glasses, binoculars and nets to help you make the most of your adventure in the Forgotten Forest. The Forest Office also features our new craft workshop where creativity can flourish.
The Forest Pass also includes the opportunity to join a nature guide on an exploration of the Forgotten Forest. Activities vary depending on the weather and what nature has to offer at the time. Discover everything from tiny forest creatures to ancient mysteries – from folklore trails to bug hunts.

The Castle
Every day during the high season, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., you are welcome to explore the Castle on your own. Admission is included in your entrance ticket. Would you like to join a guided tour and learn more about the Stephens family? A guided Castle tour is offered daily at 11:00 a.m. Purchase your ticket online and register at the reception in the Old Forge before the tour begins. The guided tour is held in Swedish.
Exhibitions
The Ironworks
In the Ironworks exhibition, you can admire the blast furnace in all its glory. Discover Huseby Bruk’s most iconic product – the famous cast-iron stove – while exploring many other iron products manufactured here.
The Nature Gallery
The Nature Gallery introduces you to the natural environments of Kronoberg County, from deep forests to open landscapes and everything in between. Discover stories that weave together nature, culture and humanity’s impact through time.
A Box in the Attic
After spending 140 years in the attic at Huseby Bruk, a previously unknown wooden box was opened. Inside were historical documents from Joseph Stephens’ nearly ten years working on a major railway construction project in India. The discovery proved invaluable to historical research. This exhibition is displayed in the Ironworks building.
The Sawmill – Then, Now & Tomorrow
In the Sawmill building you will find the exhibition Then, Now & Tomorrow. It tells the story of the forests of southern Sweden and the development of Huseby through the ages. Follow an interactive journey from the retreat of the Ice Age glaciers to the present day.
Summer Season Pass 2026
Do you love Huseby Bruk and plan to visit several times this summer? We offer a season pass valid throughout the entire summer season so you won’t miss a thing. The pass costs 225 SEK and is valid from 20 June to 23 August. Purchase yours at the reception in the Old Forge.
Elisabeth’s Garden Restaurant & Café
The restaurant is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The kitchen closes at 3:00 p.m. We serve everything from traditional hot meals to lighter cold dishes, many prepared with ingredients from our kitchen garden. Please note that admission to the grounds is required even if you are only visiting the restaurant.
