Huseby Christmas Fair is the largest Christmas fair in the Nordic region. Here you’ll find the country’s finest artisans and small-scale food producers. Take in the scents of juniper, candlelight, and delicious food. For nine days in November, you are warmly welcome to experience a magical Christmas paradise — a market for both young and old.

Take your time

Huseby Christmas Fair offers a fantastic selection of carefully chosen crafts and culinary delights from across the country. Artisans are handpicked each year to participate, and the food is often locally and farm-produced. It’s easy to spend an entire day at the fair.

In addition to the exhibitors spread across seven different venues, you’ll find the Old Forge with a shop and information center, and Kronobergsslöjdarna in the Count’s Building. The Castle is open daily for visits, preserved just as Miss Florence left it.

 

Food & Festivities

The Stable serves up the best of the traditional Swedish Christmas table. Elisabeth’s Garden Restaurant & Café offers hearty sandwiches, warming soups, and tasty fika. Around the grounds, several food trucks serve grilled dishes, game meats, vegetarian options, and much more.

As dusk falls, hundreds of Christmas trees and thousands of torches light up the grounds, creating a truly magical atmosphere.

 

Craftsmanship

Enjoy the creativity and skill gathered here during the fair: blacksmithing, ceramics, basket weaving, candle making, handwoven linens, glass art, chip carving and bentwood boxes, woodwork in all techniques. Handmade Christmas goats, straw crafts, hand-dipped candles, juniper woodwork, and Santa figures in every shape and style.

 

Food Stalls

Stock up for your Christmas table with delicacies like aquavit cheese, crispbread, old-fashioned smoked capon, lingonberry bread, sausages, marzipan, game meats, homemade pickled herring, ostrich — or why not a bottle of Huseby’s own mulled wine? We promise you won’t leave hungry.
