Dogs

Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and cleaned up after. Dogs may enter most buildings except the restaurant, Stallet, and the castle. During summer, a large outdoor seating area at the restaurant welcomes dogs. If you are unsure, feel free to ask our staff.

Picnic

The estate offers plenty of tables for visitors to enjoy their own food—ranging from Biskopshuset to Hyvleriet. A blanket on the garden lawns is also a great option.

Fishing

Please ask at the reception where fishing is permitted in the area. Most parts of the estate prohibit fishing. A fishing license is required, and we sell licenses for Salen, Åsnen, and Madsjön at the reception.
