A Chest in the Attic
After 140 year in the attic of Huseby Bruk an unknown chest was found. It contained historical documents from Joseph Stephens’s time as a railway contractor in India. He used the profit he earned to buy Huseby Bruk. We can write new history today about both Småland and India with the knowledge we have gained about contacts between the British India and Småland during the 19th century.
The exhibition is a cooperation between Huseby Bruk and Linnaeus University and has been financed through the Kamprad Family Foundation. It is open during the Christmas market 9th-17th of November.
