Eternally beautiful at Huseby
Eternally beautiful, or Evigt vackert in Swedish. Dried flowers, leaves, grass – and weeds – is the theme in two of our exhibitions this year.
Maria Bolander has created an exhibition in the Castle, with inspiration from the different characters of the rooms and the historical environment. Some of them are discrete and naturally part of the interior. Others are spectacular and grand. Dried plants were very fashionable in the late 19th century, which makes this exhibition perfect in the spirit of time in the Castle, even though Maria’s arrangements have a modern touch in their artistic expression.
